The CEI Work Travel & Study guarantees

What guarantees are included when I go abroad with the CEI?

Going abroad? Yes, but not without any organization!

The CEI Work Travel & Study has gained experience in stays for young people with the CEI group for 70 years. It is recognized by many organizations and institutions for the quality of its programmes, thanks to the expertise it has acquired over the years.

Here are 3 good reasons for trusting the CEI if you are planning an international mobility:

1. L'Office Quality Label, the guarantee of language holidays (guaranteed jobs & internships):

The CEI is a member of organizations labelled by L'Office, which is the guarantee reference for all programmes for language holidays, internships and jobs abroad. With the support of the French Ministry for Youth,  L'Office selects the best organizations according to the criteria of its "Contrat Qualité". This contract has been developed with French parents' associations, the FCPE & the APEL, alongside certified consumer associations

Thus the CEI undertakes to provide programmes in compliance with all criteria of the "Contrat Qualité de L'Office":

  • Checking of the applicant's skills + language assessment
  • Pre-interview to determine the most suited job for the applicant
  • Communication on information for each programme and specific conditions about the internship/job (agreement/contract, payment/compensation, duration)
  • Administrative support on site during the stay
  • Follow-up interviews throughout the stay
  • Contract clearly defining the goal of the stay
  • Presentation of recquired documents to obtain a visa if need be
  • Presence of one permanent public office in France at least
  • Communication on information on language courses opportunities on request
  • Post-stay overview with the applicant

Jobs: The organization undertakes to provide selection interviews to applicants (which profile has been determined before). It also commits itself to find a "job offer" 72 hours before the departure at the latest

Internships: The organization gives to the intern the contact details of a correspondent from the receiving country 10 days before the departure at the latest.

2. Member of the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (FCCGB) and the French Irish Chamber of Commerce:

The CEI is also part of the network of organizations members of the Chambre of Commerce. Thus it belongs to a recognized network of skills and expertise at a European and international level.

3. The French Embassy in Great Britain:

Lastly, the CEI is the only organization recommended by the French Embassy in Great Britain on its website.
