GOA CULTURE WEEK IN INDIA

 

The Culture Week in Goa is a gateway to Indian culture. This sustainable tourism program is an introduction to other volunteering programs in India and can also be appreciated as a week of cultural openness and exchange, ideal when you plan to spend several weeks in this country.

 

THE PROGRAM OF THIS CULTURE WEEK IN INDIA:

  • Introduction to good manners, local culture, culture shock and security in India
  • Visit of Mapusa and its local market
  • Sport sessions around self-defense
  • Participation in an Indian cooking workshop
  • Visit of the Aguada Fort and Sinquerim Beach
  • Yoga session
  • Hindi language courses (alphabet, short sentences, common products names)
  • Indian tea lesson
  • Introduction to local projects with the visit of the school, the retirement house, the animal shelter
  • Visit of a Portuguese church and a spice plantation, followed by a meal
  • In the evenings: documentaries on the history of the country, debates on cultural differencies with the country of origin of the participants

 

Your accommodation during your stay

Goa, on the west coast of India, is very popular with travelers because it allows acclimatization in a complex and charming country. Attendants will be accommodated in full board in rooms for 4 to 6 persons.

Dates of stay and organization

This program lasts one week, from Sunday to Saturday. Registrations are open all year long.

Registration details

Prices :

210€ per week + 23€ annual membership + 150€ administrative fee per registration.

 

Conditions :

  • to be over 18 years old (no age limit for minors accompanied by their legal tutor)
  • to have a good level of English (B1)
  • to have a personal passport valid for at least 6 months after your return
  • to have a tourist visa
