Discover this country with breathtaking landscapes in a different and engaging way, closer to the people. You will learn a lot about the Peruvian way of life and eco-construction techniques, while meeting people from around the world, who came here to participate in this adventure.
The aim of your participation will be to help the local community to enjoy better living conditions in everyday life, but also to help the economic development of the village. These traditional homes will be used especially for welcoming tourists.
You will participate in this project in different ways:
These traditional houses made of Tapial mud are totally adapted to the Peruvian environment because they allow to preserve naturally the heat during the cold seasons and the freshness during the warmer days.
By participating in this program you're helping the local population to preserve their traditional habitat while allowing them to live better in their village.
You will stay in the district of Los Baños del Inca, located east of Cajamarca. You will be hosted in the visitor centre in full board from Monday to Friday, and in half-board on week-ends, in a room of 3 to 5 beds.
