VOLUNTEERING IN CAMBODIA: CULTURE WEEK

 

This Culture Week is intended to allow participants to get to know the heart of Cambodia and its customs and traditions. This is the opportunity to get to know this country well-known for its archeological sites.

 

The program of this Culture Week:

  • Introduction to Khmer good manners, culture and language
  • West Baray Reservoir Tour and Dairy Farm Tour
  • Discovery of "Artisans" of Angkor, a craft store with ancestral techniques
  • Khmer massage
  • Visit of the Greenway School, built over the years by volunteers
  • Cambodian cooking class
  • Meeting with Buddhist monks and exchanges

 

Your accommodation during your stay

The camp is located in the Siem Reap area, near the famous sites of Angkor. Participants are accommodated in full board in rooms for 2 to 4 persons maximum.

Dates of stay and organization

This stay lasts one wee, from Sunday to Saturday. The registrations are open all year long.

Unless otherwise statement, attendants are usually free in the evenings. Remember to protect yourself against malaria.

Registration details

Prices:

245€ per week + 23€ annual membership + 150€ administrative fees per registration.

 

Conditions of eligibility:

  • to be over 18 years old (no age limit for minors accompanied by their legal tutor)
  • to have a personal passport valid for at least 6 months after your return
  • to have a tourist visa
  • to have a good level of English (B1)
  • to pre-fill the E-140 Social Security form
  • to have a liability insurance

  • international flights costs
  • medical insurance
  • personal expenses
  • visa fees
